Today, Korean society is entering a new era of “low growth, low interest rate, and aging”. While the pace of aging is unexpected throughout the world, the aging environment is getting worse because of the low growth rate and the low interest rate. As more than 7 million primary baby boomers who have led the rapid growth of our economy retire in recent years, our society is now more interested in retirement and retirement preparation than ever before.

The Mirae Asset Retirement Institute was created to meet the demands of the times and the needs of our customers. It is our role and our calling for Mirae Asset Retirement Institute to help you successfully manage assets and prepare for a peaceful retirement. Mirae Asset has been operating 'Investment Education Institute' and 'Retirement Pension Institute' since 2004 in order to establish the right fund culture and retirement pension system until we integrated the two Institutes into a new "Retirement Institute" in 2013.

The Mirae Asset Retirement Institute develops various contents, researches, and educational programs to prepare for retirement and to accumulate retirement assets. We are realizing this goal through construction of a mobile-friendly platform. We have already launched a retirement magazine “Retirement and Investment” in 2010, for the first time in Korean financial circle, and published the “Retirement Report” that analyzes key issues surrounding retirement preparation and retirement asset accumulation from 2013. Also, in 2017, we have published “Happy Retirement Power Plant”, an irregular book-style magazine, and “Pension Research”, an analytical report. In addition, in order to keep pace with the mobile age, we launched the “Happy Retirement Power Plant”, a pod cast broadcasting in 2016.
